About me
Sylwia Latacz
Psychotherapist.
My name is Sylwia Latacz. I am a Psychotherapist and I have MD in Psychology. I come from Poland and I have been living in Portugal for a past 8 years. I provide individual sessions for adults and couples psychotherapy.
I support people in overcoming difficulties, finding a sense of authenticity and solutions in seemingly hopeless situations. I work primarily with expats who are looking for support from someone who knows the specifics of the experience of living abroad.
My work is guided by values such as authenticity, honesty and directness. Above all, psychology is my great passion.
I am a psychotherapist in the course of graduate training (Integrative Psychotherapy) at the Institute of Health Psychology in Warsaw. I work under supervision. I completed my Master's degree in Psychology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow in 2014. In 2018-2022 I studied Process oriented psychotherapy in Institute of Processwork in Warsaw. In 2013-2014 I conducted research on psychological aspects of the migration process at the Institute of Psychology, Jagiellonian University.
Privately, I love dancing, walks in the woods and long mornings. I am interested in cultural anthropology and shamanism. I am also an illustrator: since 2015 I have been running a project called "Send me this postcard".
For me, psychotherapy is not only a method of coping with difficulties, but above all it is a method of experiencing one's life more deeply. Psychotherapy can be a path to deeper acceptance of oneself and others. I invite you to take this journey together.
